Reverend Dr. Marcellus Fields

 

            Reverend Dr. Marcellus Fields currently serves in the Oklahoma State Annual as Pastor of Allen Chapel A.M.E. in Oklahoma City, Former Director of Christian Education, and Oklahoma Consultant for the Sons of Allen. He now serves as Trustee for Shorter Junior College in North Little Rock Arkansas, Oklahoma State Conference Trustee, Dean of the Board of Examiners.

             His ministry has span some 38 years and has allowed him to serve as pastor of several churches within the State of Oklahoma. Reverend Fields is lover of young people an innovative preacher, leader and teacher. 

He holds a Doctor of Divinity from Jackson Theological Seminary, a graduate of Langston University with Bachelor of Arts in Education, with extended studies at the University of Central Oklahoma, and American Bible College in the field of education and Biblical studies.  A native of Luther Oklahoma retired Educator/Coach from the Oklahoma City Public Schools and Luther Public Schools. He is married to Brenda J. Fields for more 38 years, father of three son’s grandfather of twelve (12) grandchildren

 He is a Life member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, a member of Luther Masonic Lodge #13, NAACP  Luther Branch, and Oklahoma Education Association among many other civic organizations.

His favorite Scripture is Isaiah 40:31 “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength: they shall mount up with wings as eagles: they shall run, and not be weary: and they shall walk and not faint.
